St. John's University School of Law takes First Place at the 2010 National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition.

The Evaluators of the Competition's final round are shown with the winning team: (L. to R.) Mary Wilson Barry, competition director Ron Smith, Joseph Morris, David P. Schippers, the St. John's Law School student team (Daniel Minucci, Cindy Espinosa, Michelle Frangella, and Anthony Liberatoscioli), and Stephen Komie. Ms. Cindy Espinosa received the competition's Terence MacCarthy award as the best cross-examiner in the Competition. Over 110 top trial lawyers and judges from the Chicago area evaluated the twenty law school teams invited from all regions of the nation.
